These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our iOS apps and website: Whats-Audio Transcribe and Zipper Lock Screen Style (collectively, the “Apps”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Apps, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
1) Apps Covered
- Whats-Audio Transcribe — iOS app & share extension for audio transcription/translation/OCR workflows.
- Zipper Lock Screen Style — zipper-style launcher with Home/Lock Screen widgets, optional passcode, and on-device customization.
2) Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) to use the Apps.
- If you use the Apps on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
3) License & Intellectual Property
- We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Apps for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
- The Apps (software, design, logos, and related IP) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law.
- You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
4) Your Content & Permissions
- Whats-Audio Transcribe: You retain rights to text, images, and audio you submit (“Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to process Content solely to provide requested features and maintain service integrity (e.g., abuse prevention, troubleshooting).
- Zipper Lock Screen Style: The app provides a zipper-style launcher and on-device customization.
- You represent you have necessary rights to submit any Content and that your use complies with applicable laws.
5) Free Tier, Quotas & Fair Use
- Whats-Audio Transcribe: The app may provide a limited free tier. We may adjust limits, apply rate limits, or require a subscription for heavy or commercial use.
- Zipper Lock Screen Style: May include a free tier with optional subscription to remove ads and unlock features.
- Automated scraping, bulk harvesting, or bypassing limits is prohibited.
6) Subscriptions, Trials & Billing
- In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not store your full payment details.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Prices and features may change; we will notify you of material changes where required by law.
7) Advertising & Tracking
- Zipper Lock Screen Style: shows third-party ads via AppLovin MAX. Ad networks may receive device-level signals (e.g., device model, IP address, locale, coarse location, and—if you allow “Allow Tracking”—IDFA) to deliver and measure ads. If you deny tracking, we do not provide IDFA; networks may still use Apple’s SKAdNetwork and contextual signals.
- We may use Facebook SDK (App Events) to log basic app events (e.g., app activation, purchase success) for analytics/attribution in compliance with your iOS tracking choice.
- You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
8) PIN / Passcode Feature (Zipper)
- The optional passcode adds friction before launching a shortcut. It is not a security product and cannot fully prevent access to other apps or system features.
- If you forget the PIN, reinstalling the app clears it.
9) Acceptable Use
When using the Apps, you agree not to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights (IP, privacy, contractual rights).
- Submit unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable Content.
- Misuse the service (spam, malware, automated/bulk requests, rate-limit evasion, server interference).
- Circumvent security, integrity checks, or usage limits.
10) Results & No Professional Advice
- Whats-Audio Transcribe: Translations/OCR/transcriptions are automated and may contain errors. Do not rely on them where accuracy is critical (e.g., legal, medical, safety-critical contexts).
- Zipper Lock Screen Style: Provides visual/interaction effects only and does not offer professional advice.
11) Service Availability & Changes
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or services (in whole or part) at any time, with or without notice.
- We may apply integrity checks and safeguards to protect the service and its users.
- We are not liable for outages, delays, or data loss caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
12) Third-Party Services & Apps
- The Apps may interact with third-party services (e.g., Apple frameworks; ad networks; analytics SDKs). Their terms may apply in addition to these Terms.
- Zipper Lock Screen Style: May open third-party apps via public URL schemes initiated by you. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those apps; names and trademarks belong to their owners.
13) Privacy
Your use of the Apps is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains data handling, ads, and tracking choices.
14) Termination
- You may stop using the Apps at any time and can delete them from your device.
- We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or as required by law or security reasons.
- Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive remain in effect.
15) Disclaimers
THE APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
16) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPS. In any case, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or the minimum amount required by law.
17) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your Content, or your misuse of the Apps.
18) Export & Sanctions
You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws. You may not use the Apps if you are located in an embargoed jurisdiction or are a restricted party.
19) App Store Terms & Apple
- Distribution is subject to Apple Media Services Terms and App Store policies.
- Apple is not responsible for support or claims related to the Apps and has no warranty obligations with respect to the Apps.
20) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/UK or another region with mandatory consumer protections, your local mandatory laws may apply. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of [insert your country/state], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Before bringing a formal claim, try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@share2translate.com. If not resolved within 30 days, you may pursue your claim in the courts of [insert venue], unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
21) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, additional in-app or on-site notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
